Outreach Ministries
Saint George's Outreach Committee helps those in need locally and around the world. In addition to the ministries highlighted below, we also support Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD), United Thank Offering (UTO), plus many more. Fellowship
ECW - Episcopal Church Women
Our ECW provides outreach, ministry, and fellowship. Our ladies enjoy many activities including blanket making, luncheons, game nights and rummage sales. In addition, the ECW coordinates all funeral luncheons held at Saint George's.
LOK - Ladies of the Knight
LOK is a group of women who meet for fellowship and fun. They meet 8-10 times per year, usually in the evenings. Past activities have included dinner out, potlucks, shows and painting pottery. Each year one or two outreach projects are selected that benefit our community. We welcome ALL women whether you are a member, occasional attendee or visitor to Saint George's.
Men's Group
Our Men's Group meets once per month on the 3rd Wednesday or Thursday of the month. All men are invited to join! They typically meet at the church or at a parishioners home.
The men have put on a Mother's Day breakfast, purchased items for the church and participated in charity based golf outings.
Other
Coffee, Tea and refreshments are served during special occasions or when volunteers gather to host!
